My DH and I have really enjoyed doing this the last 3 weeks and so have the dogs. We get up really early, I know we are crazy but we like to get a jump start on our day and get a parking spot at the beach. We have met my parents, who bring their dogs and once my aunt came with her puppy. Peanut hates the wet sand and water, so she usually walks along on the dry sand but has been very good and follows us along. <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kona</span> loves to run and run and run. He could give a care less about the balls and toys, he just wants to chase all the other dogs. The first time we went, he was not too sure about the water but then followed another dog in and now he loves getting wet. This past Sunday, he seemed to be going in just to get wet and cool off. This week there were not very many dogs interested in playing chase. I felt a little bad for <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Kona</span> because this is what he loves most. My parent's dogs are a bit shy and timid but they took to the beach right away. Double :(<br /><br />Whenever I have to take someone to the airport, I leave a few minutes early so I can stop by Con Pane, a really delicious bakery, which is a few miles from the airport in San Diego. They have a really funky schedule but I always think that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Well, I pick up my mom and we head down to this bakery. I was actually debating between going to Con Pane or a place closer to my mom's called The Living Room. I should have gone to the Living Room. Con Pane was closed!!! :( They are closed on Wed. What the.....!!!! I was so <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">disappointed</span>. I was looking forward to a cup of their <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Butterscotch</span> Latte and a nice, chewy <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">ciabatta</span> roll with <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">boysenberry</span> jam. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">OHHHH</span>!!! We ended up at <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Panera</span> Bread but their coffee is not a <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Butterscotch</span> Latte. Next time I will stick to my gut and just go to the place closer to my mom's. I think I was about 9 and my sister was about 2. We would all go to pick my dad up from work, he liked leaving his truck there over the weekend. To me it seems like ever Friday but it was probably more like ever 2 months, he would suggest we would go to the blood bank. My sister and I loved this because it meant we would get to eat all you could eat donuts while my dad was giving blood. My mom hated going to the blood bank. She coined it "The Slob Family Goes to the Blood Bank". My sister was filthy, and my mom was sloppy because she was not expecting to go anywhere other than home. My sis and I, especially my sis, would run around like half starved children, eating as much treats and junk as we could. What a joyous time!! Beautiful!! When strolling around the town we stumbled across an awesome fabric store, Fabrics on Mill St., <a href="http://www.fabricsonmillst.com/">www.fabricsonmillst.com</a> If you are ever there, stop by and take a look. They also have several items on their website or you can call them direct and they will ship items too you.<br /><br />While at this store, I found a set of quilting blocks that I LOVE!! Wonderland by <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Moda</span></span>. It has bright, colorful patterns that scream HAPPY. I am in the process of making a baby quilt.
